Source=Owner’s submission. Owner’s notes: I inherited my dad's old Atlas 3060 table saw that he had used for years. It has extensions on both sides, and a roller feed-out, but don't think it's original equipment. Now the blade wobbles some at startup (still seems to cut straight), and the saw makes a lot of noise. I replaced the bearings awhile back, but they didn't fit very snug (slid on without any resistance), so I don't know if: a) the bearings were the wrong ones (replaced with the same number as on the prior bearings); or b) if the arbor and trunnion are worn. When I have time I'll take it all apart and take the arbor and trunnion down to the auto parts store to see if I can get a better fitting bearing.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open for any ideas. Thanks! |
