Owner's notes: Recently purchased this drill press of a long term resident of the Daytona Beach/Port Orange/New Smyrna Florida area who advised this drill press spent most its life in a local family owned hardware store until it was closed in the1980’s or 1990’s when he acquired it from the family that owned and operated the hardware store. According to its markings and serial number, it appears to have been manufactured in 1953 per a serial number handbook I found in the Delta document repository of this website.
I purchased this drill press via eBay from the second owner and plan to refurbish/restore the drill press for use in my wood shop in Texas. |
