This machine was bought in Pinetown South Africa in March 2007. The drill press was in fair condition when bought and virtually complete. An adaptation had been added attached to the main post which simplified belt changes. The single belt drive was replaced by a unit which replaced the drive belt with two smaller belts. By pulling on a lever both belts were loosened and thus facilitated the speed change process by obviating the need to loosen the motor securing bolt. On refurbishment it was decided to restore the Drill Press to its original state. This machine is destined to be put up for resale. |
