Source=owner’s submission. Owner’s comments: The shipping date came from South Bend. Can't find the history they sent me right now, but it was uncrated for final assy. & lube in Plantsville or Plainville, CT. My father bought it from Century Brass in Waterbury, CT when the shop was moving to another building. I bought a used taper attachment from a business in Vermont, and sent them my slide and the bronze nut to go with the original one. I also bought a new thread chaser from Tennessee or Kentucky, since it didn't come with one. The "toolmaker" version came with these acc.'s, but they also came with a beefier lead screw. The adjustable 3-pully system mounts in back of the machine on top of the bench. You need a steel shelf to hold it if your bench isn't about 26-30" deep. I'll ask for help with the photo submission later. It has a collet holder. |
