Source=Owner's submission (admin added date based on s/n). Owner's notes: I converted this saw from 3HP/3 Phase/220VAC to a 1.5HP/220VAC Leeson motor. Removed a sticker from the front dust door (which revealed the original color of the saw) brought the dust door to Sherwin Williams and had them match the original paint. Sanded down and HVLP spray painted with Alkyd Enamel. Cleaned and lubricated all internals. Scrubbed top with phosphoric acid to clean up. Replaced left table wing with cast iron MLCS router extension. Dismantled arbor assembly and replaced Arbor shaft, bearings, bearing spanner nut, and arbor retaining nut. Replaced arbor pulley with a Poly-Vee 10J280JA pulley and replaced motor pulley with Poly-Vee 10J335SH pulley. Now runs on single 10 groove J-Type serpentine belt.
Replaced original fence with a Vega Pro. Guard is a Sharkbite. Added a Wixey Digital Readout. |
