Crescent No. 2 table saw, has a nameplate from the distributor C. H. Wood Co. of Syracuse NY. From the estate of Charles S. Brown, Bridgeport, NY. Estate was donated to Cornell University as a Biological Field Station in the 1950's, Charles S. Brown was a President of the C. H. Wood Co. which was in business from about 1902-1927. Serial number 38957 stamped on the edge of the saw table. Some part numbers, in raised lettering: saw table - 2115; motor mount - 284; saw blade mandrel - 262; blade height adjuster - 253; floor base - 250; base middle section - 2116. Saw had to be disassembled for removal and I have photos of each individual section, contact me if interested. |
