Sold at auction in MA, 2006. When Yates and American merged in 1926 they sold the AWWM Co. band saw design as the Yates American V-36. It was made at the former American plant in Rochester, NY. In 1929 they came out with the Y-36 made at the main Yates plant in Beloit, WI. For a few years they sold both models of saw marketing the V-36 as "light duty". |
