Notes:	I picked up a Crescent 26" bandsaw from Iowa State University ($175). This is a direct motor drive unit---2 hp, 3 phase. It is identical to the direct drive units shown in the 1936 catalog. The serial number is 57625. The number was located on the upper arm, on the operators side (directly ahead of the Crescent decal). This saw is in operating condition, and came out the chemical engineering department. They are closing the shop that was associated with the engineering program---liability issues.
