Source=Owner's submission. Owner's notes: I have a Light Heavyweight Model 3331 16" variable speed (50-4500 rpm) band saw. It has a two speed gear box in conjunction with a with variable speed pulley to make the settings nearly infinitely adjustable. It is in excellent original condition with almost all original paint I believe. My thought is based on the cleanliness of the paint trim around the manufacturer badges. One door panel is lighter, so it may have been painted for perhaps just cleaned to vigorously? I purchased it @ 5 years ago at an auction. it had the original Driver motor, but the secondary winding went out so I am in the process of replacing that motor with a modern motor. Unfortunately, I do not have the original motor, it was too heavy to keep moving around. I just picked up a blade welder, Ames model 28-460, but have not had a chance to see if it works. I'll try to take pictures this weekend. |
