Christmas present from my Bro Wally! Other than some light rust on the bed/table, cutter head and rollers the machine is in great mechanical condition and complete. Original 2hp Baldor 220 single phase motor with dual belt pulleys and "Micro-Adjusting" cutter head. I'll completely dismantle the planer this winter, check all the innards in the gearbox, take care of the rust and repaint.
Edit: After spending a long evening inspecting, cleaning up the the machine, cutter head, bed, rollers and making adjustments to the table raising mechanism among other adjustments, the machine is ready to go to work. I was able to free up the frozen cutter head bolts by soaking them with Kroil for a few hours and used a pipe to add leverage to the Allen wrenches. The table, rollers and knives are dead on.. The knives are even sharp. This planer hasn't seen much use, just neglected. The only things that need painting are the base, belt guard ,motor, hand wheel and some cosmetic touch up's.
