A CL's find. The person I bought it from told me it came out of a school. It was missing the tail stock and lever handle for the variable speed. The bearings were shot and the pulley was scored badly on the spindle. I replaced the bearings, the spindle pulley, the belt, and I repainted it. I made a lever handle out of some spare parts. It is now my main wood lathe in the shop. The variable speed is a smooth cat's meow! It is a awesome machine and such a pleasure in making those chips fly. The motor is the original Delta 3/4 HP. I have since sold my Delta Model No. 1460.
