I had these two lathes given to ME many years ago. I believe I have identified the first one as a Craftsman 8" lathe from the 1930's. I am hoping some one can help me pinpoint the exact year and model. The base is stamped LC 846. The base is appx 43.5" long, the rest is 6", the length from the tip of headstock to tip of tailstock is appx 30". Any feedback would be appreciated. (Admin-BAK, 6/2/2015: updated specs, similar to Herberts 409-L, 9x30 lathe.)
