A fellow at a local garage sale gave this machine to me for free in October of 2009. He said he got it from an older guy in 1960, and it was very old then. He said he hadn't used it for around seven years, and thought it needed to be rewired. I took it home, and my girlfriend's grandfather and I worked on it. We put new wiring, switch and outlet, metal conduit, and a bottom platform with casters on it. It runs fantastic, and is a very well built machine. The motor is a 1/4 horse Montgomery Ward "Wards Repulsion Induction model DPA3229" 1750 RPM, 60 cycle. There is no badge or stamp on the actual machine itself to give a manufacturer, model, patent, or serial number. All information comes from the badge of the motor. Great machine that runs like it's brand new.
