Comments:
This is my original table saw and I love it. I bought it about 30 years ago and used it until I bought a PM66. I recently sold the 66 and am using the Wallace again. This is a nicely if uniquely made saw that is extremely accurate. It uses a Gilmer (cog) belt instead of V belts so it runs very smoothly with little loss due to friction. The biggest downside is the 3/4" arbor. That's why i bought the PM66. I plan to make a new 5/8" arbor some day when I get to it. The NCR box holds the capacitors I use to start and run the 3HP 3 phase Doerr motor. There are many Wallace Universal Saws on this site, but I have never seen one quite like this before.

Comments: Front view. Note the very unhappy cart! Note, too, how the cast iron extension table is supported back to the saw itself - ideal for uneven floors or frequent moves.

Comments: Badge. Note that this saw uses screws for blade raise and tilt. Slow, but more precise than gears.

Comments: View through the very large insert hole. No V belts, a very good thing! 3/4" arbor, not a very good thing.
