This machine came from a public school auction in Virginia, from my brother, another avid OWWM member. Overall it was in good original condition. It has a 3 phase, 3/4 Hp motor and the larger production table which was in very good shape.

It has been cleaned and repainted with Rustoleum Hammered grey paint. In the process of cleaning it, most of the black paint from the speed and Rockwell decals on the head was lost. I was able to purchase another head from a fellow OWWM member who was parting out his machine and used the decals for this one.

I used the existing starter to switch power to the AB VFD for the motor, and I also added a 110V work light in the hollow behind the quill. The light is powered by the small transformer in the starter. A drill press laser was also added.

The machine works very well. The VFD allows me to slow it way down also, a big plus.
