I acquired this machine in the mid 90's when I had a shop space in San Francisco. A machinery dealer stopped by with this saw on the back of his flatbed truck, and asked if I needed a band saw. Well I did, so he agreed to leave the saw for a few days test run. The easiest machine I've purchased.
There is an electric brake on the rear of the upper wheel, which stops the saw in just a few seconds. A nice safety feature.
This machine was contracted by the US military. Height is 107", width is 62", 36.375" depth. Motor is 5HP, 3 phase, 230/460 volts, 1735 rpm
