This is my good karma Delta combo unit. I lived next door to an elderly couple for several years. Mr Mathews was a crafty guy and was kind enough to let me borrow any of his tools when I needed them. After Mr Mathews past away, Mrs. Mathews sat in that big old house all by herself. Being a good neighbor, I would check in on her regularly. I always made sure she got a home cooked holiday meal. One day her daughter came from Boston. she would move Mrs. Mathews back home with her. Before she left her daughter came over and said that her Mother would like for me to have Mr Mathews' table saw. I never saw her again. I got a letter several months later informing me of Mrs. Mathews passing. This combo unit came to me as a gesture of appreciation. I plan on making it my daily driver. The good spirit of the Mathews will be alive and well in my shop.
