Another of my grandfather's tools, along with the 15" Buffalo, are my favorite. This ole gal is solid, quiet, dependable and reliable, and has been involved in all the resto's this year and finally got the attention duly deserved. A friend has recreated the plate and am looking forward to having a new one made and installed. In the interim, I'm just making a decal and applying on the original plate as well as new decals for the guards. An interesting find was in my great-grandfather's tool chest (carpenter for the Southern Railway Company) were several braces, auger bits, drill bits and a few tap holders that were also from The Millers Falls Company. I'm not sure but I think these were Skil tools badged for Millers Falls.
