I purchased this near mint condition combo sanding machine from an ad that appeared in the local paper in 2002. I recall that the ad mentioned "Delta belt/disk sander". I thought to myself it was probably a waste of time to call the number as it was most likely a newer, smaller, pacific rim import. When I called however, I was pleasantly suprised. The seller told me what it was and that he wanted $750 for it. I thought is sounded rather expensive, but when I arrived and noticed that it was in near perfect shape, I snapped it up. It is now one of the most frequently used tools in my shop.

I'm not quite sure of the exact date of manufacture. I suppose the Delta / Rockwell nameplate might help narrow it down a bit.
