I found this machine back in late 2001 in the local paper after many years of looking for a good old 8" jointer. As you can see, it's in great shape and almost looks new. I came with a nice Delta mobile base. It cost me $900. That was the seller's advertised price and he wouldn't budge. Even after I handed him nine $100 bills, he was still reluctant to let it go and even offered to buy it back if I ever wanted to get rid of it.

The 6" jointer in the background of the picture is my older (1958) PM50. I sold it for $400 to a friend.
