Dunlap 101.03541 Drill Press.
My fiancee and I bought a table saw from a fellow she met on CraigsList and saw this beauty in the corner. Got a great deal on it, took it home and drilled some holes! It had a little wobble and I found that at some point in its life it had been run with the set screw on the drill pulley loose so it has an etched indentation on the sleeve bearing. There is the slightest amount of uneven pressure in the Jacobs Chuck but if I set everything just right it appears to drill pretty true.
These photos show the unit as I received it - I've not cleaned or done anything except disassemble the thing to inspect the sleeve bearings and such. All went back together without a hitch.
I will post pictures of if after I clean up the surface rust and what not. I'm not sure if I'm going to paint it - I'm positive it's not the original paint or color but with the exception of the motor and mounts it's not a bad paint job. It looks to me like some portions were fairly rusty when it was painted and that most parts weren't cleaned well before painting, especially on the motor and mounts.
When I figure out where the serial number is I'll add it to the registry.
The Jacobs Chuck looks like it may be a bit of a project. I don't know how to disassemble it; perhaps I'm just too timid tto put any force to it. When removed from the unit and the bearings are spun by hand, you can feel one 'tighter' spot in the rotation than others. I'm not sure that there isn't a bent part somewhere but again, it appears to spin true.

Closeup of the badge. He didn't do a bad paint job around it, just a little slop on the right side.

The Stop button rattles but everything else runs fairly quiet. This 'safety' switch arrangement was painted completely over. You can read 'Cutler Hammer' on the badge through the paint. I'm not sure if I want to try to remove the paint from the badge.

Closeup of the sleeve bearing showing where the pulley set screw has etched an incredible notch in the bearing. Carefully positioning the set screw just off 40 degrees or so allows a non-vibrating rotation that drills fairly true.
