Comments:
Bought this machine at a government auction in Jefferson City, MO. Has tags from a US Navy shipyard. Originally sold by a Baltimore machinery dealer, so must have made its way to the midwest later on. Not a lot of shipbuilding in central Missouri.
The machine is complete excepting the two front doors which have been mercilessly smashed in the near past. All the other parts are there and accounted for. The motor spun up like a top the first time I put juice to it. A bit long in the tooth, but it should clean up nicely.

Rear view. I humongous combination starter has been hung on the back at some point. Seems like overkill for a 1 HP motor.
