Original Craftsman Belt and Disc Sander, Model 103.22500. Original Optional accessories: Tool Stand - catalog number 99-2204. Have the original Operating instructions and parts list.
This machine was originally owned by my grandfather, who used to do carpentry. He passed away in 1988 and the machine sat idle in a non-climate controlled workshop. The workshop now is about to collapse and my father asked if I wanted it. I said OK and when he brought it to me it was in rough shape. Lots of rust on the belt surfaces, 45 years of caked-on sawdust, hornets nests, cracked wiring and in many pieces. I said "what did I get myself into". Well, several nights in the basement, mostly elbow grease and with the tunes playing, here it is. I plugged it in, turned it on, and this thing purrs. Now the first project will begin which is a cat condo for our new kittens.
