Comments:
I purchased this "Junior" Unisaw in September 2008. The machine was dented and splattered with paint.
The motor pulley was wallowed on the shaft. The motor shaft cover was dented. There was no motor tag. There was a plywood floor installed in the bottom of the cabinet. Four screws through each side of the cabinet held it in place. The rear fence rail was missing. Otherwise the saw was in running condition.

To straighten the dents in cabinet, I cut the spot welds holding the cabinet together, bumped each piece flat and carefully welded the pieces back together. Extra holes around the switch opening and in the cabinet were plugged with JB weld and sanded smooth before painting.

The cabinet consists of 23 separate pieces. From researching it, the Uni Jr. was produced for only 3 years. 1949, 1950, and 1951.
The motor pulley was replaced with a cast pulley from Surplus Center, 5.45" diameter, 3/4" shaft, 1 groove.
All parts were removed, cleaned, and painted. From the Delta catalogs, the motor matches model number 82-910, 3/4 hp, 1725 rpm, 115/230 volt, 3/4" double shaft.

I found the original switch location to be awkward. At 90 degrees, the elevation handwheel blocks easy access to the switch. The location that I selected allows easy access to the switch regardless of the handwheel position. The original location has been covered by a shop made plate. The switch is suspended by a shop made bracket attached to the edge of the extension wing.

The rear fence rail is from a later model Delta saw that had the same diameter. Unfortunately it's slightly shorter. The fence and rails are unique to the Uni Jr. They were not shared with other models.
