I hope that this is the proper location for this machine. The motor badge was worn smooth, save for HP and electrical information, and presumably a model and serial number. I posted for identification help in The Shop, but none was fothcoming. I scoured dirty paper on this site, and I heartfully believe the grinder was manufactured by Powr-Kraft, although not sure if it was badged for Montgomery Ward. The model and serial numbers seem to ascribe to the Powr-Kraft convention. The base of the grinder is identical to the Powr-Kraft models in the 1943 catalog, although those models had one-piece tool rests and shields. I bought this from C-list. It had a vibration when first started, but after removing the wire wheel and stone, she ran out much smoother. I may try replacing the bearings in this one.
