This Greenlee table saw followed me home today. I can honestly say I have never seen a better built or more nicely designed table saw. When I got the saw it had spent several months outside with the table removed, under a tarp. Despite a light coating of surface rust the controls all worked with a silky smoothness. One unique feature of this saw is a two-speed 5HP motor (1800/3600). I'm not sure what the reasoning for this is, but I'm going to find out! A major downside of the two speed motor is that it is single voltage, 440 volts. I believe that this saw started life in the shops of one of our major auto makers. I plan to refurbish/restore this saw eventually - it looks to be well worth the effort. The saw also includes as retrofitted a "Shortstop" electronic brake and an elaborate, heavy blade guard. The 1 1/4" arbor (direct drive) will make it hard to find blades, though.
