I own a Mfg. Co. that uses lots of antique machines. This one is a American Woodworking Machinery Co. Bandsaw B 34 made in Williamsport PA. Its 8' tall 58" wide. All babbit bearings. Tilting table. Flat belt drive. We use it about 4 to 6 hours a day. I have another just like it and it gets about 6 hours a day use. The only reason I have a estimate on the date is I found a date on the band guide for 1890. With 34 1/2" wheels and using 18'7"x 3/4 bands I get about 5 working days out of a band blade before resharping. I have to repour babbit (lead nickel) bearings about every 10 years, it takes about 2 days for 2 guys but its well worth the trouble for this great machine.
