I picked this up a few years back. The gentleman had described this a 1940's DEWALT 12" Planer. It had no motor. At his shop I noticed it was labeled with the badge of CRAFTSMAN. It has sat in the back of my shop now for 3 years. I am now ready to do something with it, either restore or sell. I know very little about this planer. Appears to be a very sound machine. It is more greasy/dusty than rusted. That is a good thing I guess, better preserved. The bearings seem smooth when I turn the cutter head. I will post a after picture when I complete this project. I am thankful to this site OWWM for the valuable information afforded to it's members.
