This is a Craftsman model 103.23831 8" bench saw. It is powered by a Craftsman model 113.12201 1 HP 3450 RPM electric motor. The electric motor has a 1960's / 1970's era Craftsman logo. Notice the logo on the saw gives credit to the King-Seeley Corp. as the true maker. The saw is mounted on a home-made stand. Notice, the legs of the stand are old legs off of a singer Sewing Machine! The motor is mounted on a home-made tension devise. THe saw works fine, although it takes a LONG TIME to get the rip fence set up to ensure a straight cut. This saw was given to me by my Uncle in 2003 when I was working on a remodeling project and was in need of a table saw. My Uncle had bought this new and had been sotred in a barn for over 10 years before I got it. Needless to saw, it was in need of a lot of TLC and cleaning. There was no blade guard with it and I was lucky enough to find one in Pittsburgh, PA for $6.00 on e-Bay.

Comments: 113.12201 Craftsman electric motor rated at 1 HP 3540 RPM. Appears to be a 1960's - 1970's era motor based on the logo.
