I found this at friend's neighbors yard rusting on the side of his garage. I think I gave him $20 for it. Later, I found a original saw guard. I restored it to it's origin, but later modified it with a larger motor of 1 HP 3450 220V. I went further by installing a craftsman cutter head to the saw. I had two table top inserts, so I used one by cutting a wider slot to accommodate the cutter head. I installed two boards on either side of the fence to protect the cutter head in the event it got too close to the metal fence. The high 3450 rpm motor does a great job by cutting molding patterns. It can be easily restored to a table saw by removing the cutter head, adding a 8" blade and the unmodified table top insert.
