Comments:
I saw this on ebay and it was local so I went to see it. The man who sold it had a larger, newer jointer and hadn't used it in years and years (it had a small paper wasp nest under the table!). I was told it powered up and spun freely. I really wanted a jointer and the plastic ones at Home Depot cost $200. I got this one for $50!

Took it home, disassembled it, and will now get started on the cleaning and restoration before putting her to work. I called Sprunger and ordered new bearings and new blades. Parts for these are nearly out, so I will most likely have the old blades reground at some point as an extra set. Table looks solid with no pitting. A couple of small scratches which I should be able to polish out.

Comments: Mfg tag. Notice this is square not round, it seems the 1949 and later were a different design.
