This Yager planer is owned by Jerry Persons in Portland, OR. and came to him from his late father, a retired patternmaker. In his retirement, Jerry's father made desk triangles for name plates out of walnut and sold them to a wholesaler. This Yager is a early square cutterhead model with a steel open legged stand. The stand has pressed ornamentation. The senior Mr. Persons added many enhancements and non factory additions.
