I was given this machine by Dr. John (Jack) Bobbitt when he could no longer use it. Jack was a fantastic ship modeler, a great mentor, and a dear friend. He has since passed, and I will miss him. I am greatful for this and other gifts (tools) he gave me.
According to W&H, the original owner was another man from Lexington, Kentucky. Jack used to live not too far away, in Charleston, West Virginia. He may have purchased it from the original owner, but this is not known.
