This grinder seems to predate the other Hobart machines in the Photo Index, having the manufacturer named as Hobart Bros. Co.

Acquired for the estate of a boat builder and pattern maker.

It has a very "interesting" brush-holding arrangement, where it appears to be grounded to the frame of the machine, and partially exposed. Pretty rough as received, it will probably be torn down completely and rebuilt, if possible.
