I just picked up my new Wallace 8" jointer today. It wasn't exactly a "steal", but it was certainly a lot less than what it would have cost me to go out and buy a new 8" jointer.
It is powered by a Dayton 1hp single phase motor (1725 rpm).
It is mounted on a base originally belonging to a Delta 8" jointer, but the previous owner made some slight modifications to accommodate the Wallace.
Hopefully it won't take but some sharpened knives to put it straight back to work.
