This table saw/jointer was given to me to by Steve Sharps of Sharps Lumber (amazing lumber!)5 miles from my house. I was going there to buy some walnut and was telling him about my "new" Dewalt Mbc and he said "he I have something you might be interested in. Its an old table saw/jointer combination machine and it has wheels so you can move it around, and I'll give it you!" I was skeptical but then he showed it to me and I couldn't resist. He didn't really know any history about it, he said he paid $300 for it "a while ago" There is a badge on it that says "Fred'k A Cheney, Boston Mass, Woodworking machinery. This saw has a miter gauge which I think is original and a replacement homemade rip fence. The built in mobile base works great and made moving this beast around not terribly bad. The base engages when the lever on the front of the machine is pulled forward.
