This ginder came from a high school in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The original wheels were covered with a thick coat of saw dust. I believe this grinder was used to sharpen turning tools. The stand is cast iron. this thing weighs close to 200 pounds. It is belt driven and comes with a 3/4 HP motor. I put a new belt on it and rewired everything. It runs very quiet and smooth.
