Nov. 04, 2003. Thanks to fellow OWWM member Brian Coe. Brian emailed to tell me that the organization that he works for was selling this saw. Brian didn't need the saw but was hopeful to get it into the hands of someone who'd take care of it. It is a DeWalt Products Co. 9" radial arm saw. Model no. MBC, Rel. No. 21, serial no. 107521. Motor is 1/2HP, 115v, 9Amp, 3425 RPM and runs smooth and quiet. Saw has never been painted, appears to have all of its original tags in beautiful condition, solid cast iron construction, and was in service until not too long ago. According to what I've found so far, the model number indicates 1950-1955 but the cast iron handles (one with wooden grip) indicate it might be earlier vintage. I'll have to do more research. Other than one broken handle the saw appears to be in great shape. Purchase price was $75.00.
