My dad acquired this machine when I was very young. I would guess he got it nearly 40 years ago. He used it frequently and so did I as I was growing up. It has its quirks, but is still a reliable machine. I'm certain that it has the original motor, but I think at least one pulley has been changed. Unfortunately, the guard was modified to allow a shorter blade to be installed.
