this lathe is identical to the one KIRK HOFFMAN submitted in august 2006. he found a sears 1938 catalog with the lathe and item number listed. the lathe has NO serial number plate on it and no signs of holes where it was removed. there is a CRAFTSMAN tag on the front of the lathe that can be seen in the photo.
