Charlie Wells had this scrollie and finally determined
1. He wasn't going to get around to doing a resto
2. I might make a good home for it
So I sold my Rockewell Peace sign era variable speed version and went to work on this one.
I sand blasted everything and tried the paint Dan Wyatt has recommended (Rustoleum Hard Hat DMG)
This saw came with a retirement lamp which I polished.
I had the table blanchard ground, installed new bearings in the Delta 900 motor
and ended up with this beauty.
Charlie got it from a couple in Oakland near Mills college. They were early retirement age.
The saw was given to her father when he retired from a printing company in San Francisco that he had worked at for many years.
It was passed on to her. Her husband had used it very little.
It mostly sat in their basement.
