Purchased through an IRS Auction for Riverside Furniture in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, June 2009. Since Baldor used to manufacture grinders in Ft. Smith, the machine may have never left its city of birth. This is a massive grinder, capable of handling 2" x 12" emery wheels and being entirely cast iron construction - even the tool rests are cast iron. The machine cost $185 in the auction. MSRP as of 2009 is $2,557. The motor is dual voltage, 208-230/440v. Quite impressive in every way.

Even the backside is impressive, although I think I'm going to try cleaning up the wires for the lamps.

Note the heavy cast iron tool rest. The wheel shown is only about 1-1/2" x 6". Again. . . Wow!
