This is my first OWWM! Really, I wasn't looking for this, and I certainly didn't need it. But I always sort of had it in the back of my mind, that if I ever did get a vintage machine, then it would either be a drill press or a jointer with the cool base. I was trolling Craigslist (procrastinating, because the shop needed cleaning badly and I didn't want to do it), when I saw it. I delayed calling and was shocked when it was still available (and no one else had called). It was pretty much right on my route home from work. I paid $250 and the guy helped me load it into the back of my car. It was fate!

I have absolutely no experience with tool restoration, so I'll be asking a lot of questions! I bought this jointer because from the pics, I could tell that it was in excellent condition, and it just MIGHT be within my capabilities to bring it up to snuff.
