Comments:
I bought this planer along with a Boice-Crane Drill press from the original purchaser in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He told me about buying them in 1945 in Toledo Ohio, then moving them to Albuquerque soon after. I believe he built the stand himself, it is solid and strong. Repainted by first owner, so decals are not visible.
Included in the purchase were 2 additional sets of sharpened knives and Magna-Set gauges, but I have not yet taken on the task of replacing.
Feeling a little wary of the exposed drive belts, I fabricated a cover to match.
