Acquired this in early 2009. Seems to be in pretty good shape, but is missing the blade guard. I'd like to find it and get this thing working again.
It seems to be a well built little jointer, but the black knobs seem out of place, almost an after thought or a cheap cost cutting measure at the time. Or maybe that they seem out of proportion large compared to the size of the jointer! And why is the face of the fence black - what's even more odd is that I've seen a photo of another on this site and it had a black painted fence as well.
