Grandfather acquired this machine used and damaged - it had been dropped. Front pulley was broken, one side of adjusting mechanism was bent, and work table was broken. Cast iron worktable successfully repaired by someone good at brazing cast iron - my dad's baby brother. Later model front pulley was adapted to "work". Protractor assembly and belt table fence have gone missing in action. After grandfather's passing, it made it's way to father's workshop, where it received a bit of use for short time before my father's passing. Sander has been unused for 20 years, and was covered with sanding dust, sawdust, and dirt. I cleaned it up a bit to see what was under all the mess, and assess the damages. Cosmetically, looks pretty good for 60-plus years old. Unfortunately, rear drive pulley is badly worn. Will consult with a local tool repair shop to see what they can do to remedy this situation. Sander will be torn down again, cleaned, painted, new decals, and restored to an operable state. More pics when this is completed.

Front right side view. Holes for oil caps on horizontal plane with sander table, unlike other picture I have seen where they are indicated to be at 45 degrees upward from horizontal. Probably an early version of this model.

Right front side of sander showing drive pulley end. Most of the rust on the work table surface was cleaned off, just to see how bad it was. I think it is restorable.
