This machine was bought via auction from the Virginia Beach Public Schools system. Its a single phase machine with a mag starter and variable speed. Overall physical condition of the press was very good with just a light surface rust. Mechanically it needed a bit of work. It was a bit noisy especially when lowering the quill to the full 6" stroke. I replaced both sets of bearings and eliminated the noise in the quill. Runout went from .002 to about .0005.
