>>MACHINE<<
Craftsman model 103.66020 belt driven polishing head.
Cast iron body in Power-Bronze finish, ½-20 threaded arbor shaft, 2" hubless aluminum pulley, 1¾" stamped steel wheel flanges.
No bearings--shaft rides in cast iron body. Neoprene plugs (missing) seal the oil holes.
This one appears to have zero mileage. There are no marks on the pulley or mounting holes.
Possibly purchased, never used and stored with something that chipped the body paint.
Light surface rust on the flanges and nuts. The shaft looks brand-new.

>>HISTORY<<
April 2009:
I purchased from a gentleman in Redford Michigan, through eBay-local pick-up.
He was not the original owner and had no previous history.

Update:
August 2015:
Cleaned up nuts and flanges with a wire wheel.
Tapped oil fill holes #10-32 and installed ¼" long round head machine screws to keep out debris.

March 2016:
Filed off parting line burr in the body casting below the pulley.
SAE30 oil to lubricate the shaft.
Powered by a Dunlap 1/3 hp 1750 rpm motor, with 2½ pulley and 4L32 belt.
The motor is attached to a Craftsman floating (pivot) mount.
A block of wood under the base reduces the excessive belt tension from the full motor weight.
