Wound up at a scrap aluminum yard outside of Kewaskum, WI. Machine had been listed on *b*y and I guess I was the lucky winner. So, we load the family up in our minivan and drive over from Lansing MI in the snow and rain of the kids' spring break (6 hour trip). Wisconsin was sunny and clear and the machine was waiting for us there. We partially disassembled it, stuffed it in the van and brought it home.
Goal is to restore it and use it as a user's machine. Had to recreate a decal on the back, great assistance from other OWWMers. Took 3 days to get the outfeed table off due to lots and lots and lots of rust holding pieces together. FWIW, that spring across the front was added in the past to make the blade guard work. Somehow, the previous users didn't know how to adjust the tension to make the guard close by itself without a separate spring. All-in-all, great machine, no major defects. Final photo gets posted when the machine is finished.
