Bought this out of a warehouse in St Louis. History unknown, but the original color may have been the gray painted over the pea green at the factory. The Powermatic batch & foil sticker and the Municipal Tool & Machinery (still in business) were added over the gray. No broken parts, but so stuffed with sawdust and bearings so bad the motor couldn't turn it. Took about $250 for bearings, welding, belt, cord, plug, bolts, refurbished 1 hp motor, dust collection parts, & misc other stuff, plus a couple dozen hours of work, to get it operating again. The belt tracks perfectly. The sander removes amazing amounts of wood with an 80 grit belt or disk.

Belt side down. Could have been a little better with the bondo, though.
